Take part in virtual balloon race for Naomi HouseÂ
THERE is less than a week left for people to take part in a virtual balloon race to raise money for a children's hospice.
Naomi House and Jacksplace has organised the event where participants can win £1,000. The fundraiser is part of the Winchester hospice's 21st birthday celebrations.
Unlike a traditional balloon race, this one is environmentally friendly as the balloons do not exist. Instead, real-time  prevailing weather conditions for the area will be applied to all the balloons in the race using a computer programme.Â
One balloon costs £21 and can be bought until 2pm on Saturday when the race starts. Visit naomihouse.org.uk/balloonrace.
