Women encouraged to do the Race For Life
Following the success of recent running events in Southampton, London and Manchester, the Race For Life allows women to race at their own pace – whether it is the 5k, 10k or Pretty Muddy event.
In Portsmouth, the Race For Life will be taking place on July 8 and 9, for women of all ages and abilities.

The work of Cancer Research UK relies on the support of the general public, allowing it to spend millions of pounds on leading scientific and clinical research.
Georgina Horne, Cancer Research UK’s event manager in Hampshire, said: ‘This year, we are encouraging women to harness their fighting spirit and take on their own fitness challenge by signing up to Race For Life.
‘By taking part in Race For Life and helping to raise money for life-saving research, women in Hampshire will know that they are helping to beat cancer.
