The Lord Roberts pub Tywford Avenue Standing on the corner of Twyford Avenue and Silverlock Street another fine building condemned to road widening was the Lord Roberts. Another building of fine architectural lines that is still missed by locals. Local coal merchants, Corrals can be seen about to make a delivery. When the pub was demolished, a great cloud of coal dust ascended into the air. Photo: The News archive
