Have your say

This view by Herbert Marshall shows Waterlooville crossroads in 1910.

Portsdown and Horndean Light Railway tramcar No 6 looks for all the world as if it is going to run down the little white dog which is bravely crossing the tracks.

The shop awnings, almost mandatory at the turn of the century, indicate that the view was taken in the summer although most of the women in the picture are wearing coats and, in one case, a scarf.

The pub on the left is a Gale’s house, the Heroes of Waterloo.
