Have your say

Edwin Amey sent me this photograph asking if anyone can remember what looked like a cage located on the north-eastern side of Portsbridge at Hilsea, Portsmouth? He thinks it was there for many years after the war.

In the foreground can be seen a guard on sentry duty alongside one of the many sandbagged areas along and around the bridge, the only road on to and off Portsea Island before Eastern Road was opened.

If anyone can enlighten Edwin or myself we would be glad to know.
