NOSTALGIA: Dolphins in Portsmouth Harbour

Have your say

In 1912 the peal of eight bells in the tower of the cathedral church of St Thomas in Old Portsmouth, was recast as part of the restoration of the structure.

Each bell was paid for by a different section of the community, including the children of the town, Portsmouth’s doctors, its lawyers, the army and the navy.
