A roll of film lying in a suitcase undeveloped for more than 70 years, shows many snaps from the last war.

Sent in by Geoff Norman, from Basingstoke, here we see a Spitfire approaching a German V1 rocket.

It flies parallel to it before dipping its wing under the wing of the flying bomb and then by raising it sends the V1 off course and away from its target.

Pilots used to try to shoot down the bombs, but it became a dangerous exercise when they exploded close to the plane, so someone came up with this idea.
