Seen here are working horses enjoying a morning dip in the sea off Southsea in a picture which I believe was taken about 1910.

In the distance you can see Fort Blockhouse and perhaps HMS St Vincent.

I think HMS Victory was too far down the harbour to feature in this shot. The Queen’s Hotel, Southsea, is the white building to the right of centre.
