Have your say

Do any of you remember the open-air theatre, a novelty for Southsea, that was set up near Canoe Lake in 1963?

It was built by the Southern Theatre for Children and sponsored by the corporation.

On a simple platform near the bowls pavilion the company presented Wind in the Willows, adapted from Toad of Toad Hall by the producer Robert Cooper.

It ran from August 19-21 but, like all outdoor productions, depended on the weather. Can you remember attending any of these shows?
