Looking altogether very much like a trolleybus coming towards you, the full-fronted double deckers were once a common sight in Gosport and Fareham during the 1960s.
Twelve of these buses were unusual because they were fitted with Deutz air-cooled engines.
After a million miles, the engines showed very little sign of wear and tear, unlike their counterparts.
Drivers recall how they were noisy and cold in the cab, but they were quite nippy.
Maybe you remember seeing them and travelling on them to work, to go shopping or to the cinema.
Now you can read all about them in the latest in the series of Provincial Papers which has just been published about these rare buses.
You can find a copy in the Travel Shop at Fareham, near the bus station or obtain one direct from the Provincial Society by ordering from the provincialsociety.org.
