And you thought onesies were a 21st century fashion statement.

George Jeffrey, from Havant, sent me this delightful 1941 picture of his sister Gloria (now Hawkins), aged five. George reminds us that they were called siren suits. You slept in them and if the air raid sirens sounded you were adequately dressed to go down into your shelter.
