John Attenborough, the younger brother of natural history legend Sir David Attenborough, was taken to hospital when his car collided with a horsebox.

He was taken to the Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Winchester, with a broken collar bone, shoulder blade and back injuries. The accident occurred when he was driving his Alfa Romeo sports car on the A31 at Poles Lane, near Winchester. A passenger in the horsebox was taken to hospital with Mr Attenborough.
