This weekend sees the D-Day Revival at the village of Southwick which promises a fantastic time for everyone.
Apart from vintage vehicles, steam engines, cars and lorries there will also be a street market in the closed-off High Street.
On Saturday and Sunday the village will be dressed for Victory in Europe celebrations with a 1940s’ tea room, family picnic, children’s play area in the Squire’s Paddock and an old-fashioned funfair.
There will also be a twice daily firing of Fort Nelson’s 1940s’ 25lb field gun and if you fancy a chance of firing it why not enter the following competition by 6pm today. You must be over 14 and be available after 2.30pm for the 3pm firing on Saturday.
