Yesterday’s News is a nostalgic look back at The News of 40 years ago.

Each week you can listen to the latest edition of the programme, presented by deputy editor Mark Acheson. The weekly show is broadcast at 4.30pm on Tuesdays and repeated at 9.30am on Thursdays on the Havant-based community radio station Angel Radio.

Mark features stories, letters, adverts, cinema listings and TV schedules from the time and plays some great music along the way!

Angel, which only plays music recorded before 1960, broadcasts on 101.1FM, on digital and at angelradio.co.uk.

To contact Mark about the show or to make a record request or dedication, email him at mark.acheson@thenews.co.uk or call 023 9262 2141.
