How many of you cut your gig-going teeth at the Guildhall, Portsmouth?
The city’s most recognisable civic building will hold millions of memories for all of you and we want you to share them with us.
To mark the building’s 125th anniversary this summer we shall be devoting part of our Remember When section each day throughout August to your memories and pictures.
Whatever decade they came from, please e-mail them to firstname.lastname@example.org and together we can share a few highlights of the building which has been a beacon in our lives for so long.
This picture shows the Guildhall imperiously surveying the work going on beneath it as the Guildhall Square as we know it today was being developed.
Philip Pyke took the picture in 1972.
