Greetings Chipsters everywhere. I’m sure that by the time you read this, you will have eaten many, many chocolate Easter eggs.
And I wouldn’t blame you, I’ve heard they’re delicious – but I wouldn’t know because dogs can’t have chocolate.
It’s very bad for our tummies, this is good to know if you have a dog of your own.
Luckily, the Easter fair in our village takes this into account, we have a bone hunt instead of an egg hunt, which suits me just fine.
Brindley and I strolled on down to the fair on Sunday morning, suited and booted ready for a day packed full of fun.
There were bouncy castles, food stalls, games, and all of our friends from the area were there too.
Rayna the robin came down to see me so I introduced her to Brindley Milligan. Who says birds and cats can’t be friends?
We do have an egg and spoon race though, with pretend eggs decorated in the craft area at the fair.
Now you might not have guessed, but I’m quite the competitor.
I wanted to win the egg and spoon race and being the creative canine that I am, I asked Rayna if she could fly me, my egg and my spoon to the finish line.
‘That’s cheating!’, I hear you cry, but there’s no rulebook that say’s you can’t fly your way to the top.
Anyway, we all had a terrific day.
What did you get up to over Easter? Do write and let me know.
This week three lucky Chipsters have scooped the latest prize in my competition.
