FIFTY years of a community association are being celebrated with a ball.

The Titchfield Bonfire Boys, a community organisation, has organised the Tux and Twirls event for Friday, July 18.

There will be a five-course meal, followed by a live band and dancing.

Joint vice chairwoman Ann Whyntie said: ‘There is always loads going on in Titchfield and this year is no exception. That is what makes it a great place to live. We should celebrate the thriving community centre on our doorstep.’

The evening starts at 7pm. Tickets cost £35, call (01329) 319035 to book.
