Greetings Chipsters everywhere

Over the weekend, I took part in a dragon boat race across the lake at Dunyelping.

It was exhilarating. There’s nothing I love more than the wind in my big, floppy ears.

There’s no guesses as to who I was on a team with – that’s right, my old pal Brindley.

He doesn’t like water but it was fine, because I promised him we wouldn’t capsize.

Whoops. I shouldn’t have said that, because we did.

But we still won of course, and you know what they say, nothing worth having comes easy.

We were in the lead when it happened, luckily. We were going so fast across the lake that we capsized.

There was only the two of us so even though we saw it coming, we didn’t have the man, or should I say animal, power, to stop it from happening.

Luckily I take to water like a duck so I rectified the situation. I got Brindley on my back and got us straight back in the boat. Hoorah!

You may have noticed the picture of two of my friends just over to the right. They’re both Chipsters and they’re also sisters – Evie Jones is on the left and Gabby Jones is on the right.

They are both part of Portsmouth Athletics Club and recently took part in an interclub race.

Evie came 3rd and Gabby came 2nd.

Well done girls! Keep up the good work.

Chip Chip for now. Chipper.
