Prosecco festival is returning to Port Solent next weekend

A PROSECCO festival is being held in Port Solent next weekend.

On Saturday, October 20, The Boardwalk at Port Solent will be transformed into a bubbly celebration.

Around 7,500 glasses were drunk at last year's event, with a variety of live music, entertainment and other street acts.

Event organiser Lisa Fowler said: '˜We were blown away by the success of our first Prosecco Festival last year.

'˜From the minute tickets were snapped up, there was a real buzz around it and I think that's a testament to the popularity of prosecco. All of the team at Port Solent can't wait to bring prosecco lovers from the region to Port Solent again and put on another fantastic event.

'˜We're hoping that this year's Prosecco Festival will be just as successful and that guests will enjoy all of the brand-new entertainment.'
