It’s not often you get to taste the top wines of a particular country as chosen by one of the world’s foremost wine writers. But on November 29, just such an opportunity is available locally.
Matthew Jukes is wine correspondent for the Daily Mail as well as a recognised leading expert on Australian wine and each year he compiles a Best 100 Australian Wines list.
Last year he decided to take his list out on the road as a tasting roadshow and this year he is bringing the tasting to Emsworth, his only stop on the south coast.
The tasting is being held at the Brookfield Hotel, Emsworth from 6.30pm and tickets are £8 each or £7.50 per pair – details are available at hermitagecellars.co.uk
