Have your say

I have a whole range of summer rosés that I should be recommending right now but it looks like they are going to have to wait just a bit longer. Still, we can but hope!

So here a few wines that have been sitting on my tasting bench for a little while. Casillero del Diablo Reserva Privada Sauvignon Blanc 2010 (, by the case £60, equivalent to £10 per bottle) a definite step up from the standard sauvignon blanc in the ever dependable Casillero range, this has limes and grapefruit with zesty acidity and great balance.

Alsace never gets the attention it deserves but Dopff au Moulin Pinot Blanc 2011 (£11.90 is delicious and fresh with apples, pears, and not a hint of oak.

Often over looked for Sauvignon Blanc but New Zealand can deliver great Chardonnay as well. Brilliant value.
