The Coward – The Rise and Fall of the Silver King is a new biography by naval historian Steve Dunn.

It tells of Admiral Sir Ernest Troubridge who was court martialled for failing to engage an enemy warship in the First World War and suffered professional and personal disgrace as a result.

From 1892-1895 he lived at 15, Cavendish Road, Southsea, with his first wife Edith.
