Drayton-based Brewers The Lettings Agency has raised £530 so far for the Lymphoma Association in memory of director Peter Brewer, who died from lymphatic cancer in April last year.

The firm pledged a £50 donation for every new lettings instruction with the aim to raise £500, and thanks to support from landlords and friends, it reached its goal.

They help people feel less vulnerable, more confident and more in control, which helps them cope and deal with their treatment.

The Lymphoma Association says: ‘The first time many people hear of lymphoma is when they or someone close to them is diagnosed. It can be a confusing, bewildering and scary time. Sometimes sharing your concerns with someone outside of the family or circle of friends can really help.

‘We know that people need support in different ways.
