Brewers said: We are proud to say that as well as us making our donations, we also had support from some of our landlords and friends who very kindly made additional donations in order for us to reach our goal of Â£500 which we did!

Drayton-based Brewers The Lettings Agency has raised £530 so far for the Lymphoma Association in memory of director Peter Brewer, who died from lymphatic cancer in April last year.

The firm pledged a £50 donation for every new lettings instruction with the aim to raise £500, and thanks to support from landlords and friends, it reached its goal.

More than 12,000 people are diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma each year in the UK. It is more common in people aged 55 and over. Lymphoma Association is the UK’s only charity focused exclusively on providing specialist information and support to help lymphoma patients, their relatives, friends and carers. They help people feel less vulnerable, more confident and more in control, which helps them cope and deal with their treatment.
