As we say goodbye to our Skillshops programme for now, we should express our thanks to the European Social Fund’s Community Grants South East Region 2014-2015 for funding.
This has ensured we were able to share so many creative learning sessions with such lovely people from across Portsmouth.
We sewed items and sowed seeds. We learned to brew the best coffee with Tara at The Southsea Coffee Company.
We made clay pots and then planted herbs in them.
We crocheted, felted, mosaiced, decoupaged and renovated.
Our homes are now brimming with fabulous hand-made items and our gardens are bursting with new plants and vegetables.
In the Right Plant, Right Place workshop we learned how to get the most out of our gardens and utilise the smallest of spaces.
We grew seeds and grew in confidence together, sharing laughter, fun, a love of gardening, crafts and, perhaps most importantly, our community.
