This year could be a great one for us all if we can keep sharing and helping each other with all the gardening and food and environmental projects that began in 2015.
We have been proud to support some special projects looking after our green spaces. But we could do with a little help in 2016 and so too our friends at the community gardens all over the city.
There are so many jobs to do and there are fewer hands in the colder weather.
So please help if you can at Wimbledon Park, or Wymering Manor, The Stacey Centre, or the Baffins association.
Or lend a hand at the Eastney, Somers Town or Portsea community gardens, Cumberland House or Southsea Rock gardens, who all meet weekly. Or come down to Canoe Lake and help with our projects.
We’d love to hear from you if you can offer time, resources or a little cleverness. It makes our community grow.
Help us keep it blooming into 2016 and keep sending your surplus food to Foodcycle Portsmouth. Visit us at southseagreenhouse.co.uk.
