The modern three-bedroom West Sussex bungalow, known as Sea Mist, has belonged to German two-time Olympic snowboarder Jan Michaelis and his wife Alina for more than eight years.
They are raffling it off at £2.50 per ticket to raise £50,000 for marine conservation charity Surfers Against Sewage and another good cause set to be announced in the ‘coming weeks’.
Sea Mist also comes with an additional Air BnB-ready, one-bedroom cabin and sits a short walk away from the sandy, blue-flagged beaches of West Wittering and East Head.
Both coastal beauty spots are part of a National Trust Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The couple, who have a four-year-old child, will foot the winner’s conveyancing fees up to £1,500 and stamp duty up to £15,000.
Terms and conditions also state they’ll pay up to £2,000 of the first year’s running expenses and council tax.
Keen surfer Jan, who decided during lockdown to raffle the home, said: ‘We love the sea and believe it’s important to protect it, not only for our own benefit but primarily because it is an essential component of our planet’s ecosystem.
‘Surfers Against Sewage are a community dedicated to the protection of oceans, waves, beaches and wildlife.
‘Therefore, it was just natural for us to choose them as a charity that we want to support.’
The winner of the West Wittering property will be in affluent company when they move in, as musicians Keith Richards and Michael Ball and actors Nicholas Lyndhurst and Kate Winslet also call the village home.

The draw was launched on August 6, 2020 and will close on February 6, 2021, before the raffle’s winner is chosen within 32 days.
Mr and Mrs Michaelis must sell 240,000 tickets to be able to give the property away, otherwise a cash prize of at least £50,000 will be won instead.
The raffle website, Win My Beach Home, also states the potential cash prize will rise as more raffle tickets are sold – with a proportional donation going to the two charities.
