Portsmouth Guildhall Square will be setting the mood on Tuesday between 11am and 3pm.
Couples can chalk multi-coloured messages to their partners on the ground, and declare their devotion on the square’s big screen.

The loved-up event is being organised by Portsmouth City Council and staff will playing Cupid by handing out coloured chalk and offering love poems, including Shakespeare’s sonnets.
Cllr Linda Symes, the council’s cabinet member for culture, leisure and sport, said: ‘This is just a way of bringing a bit of romance and fun into the city centre to mark Valentine’s Day. Anyone’s welcome to join in. You can write a message on the ground or draw a love heart, whatever takes your fancy.’
