A £130,000 revamp of a park has been approved.

Groundwork South, based in Gosport, has been given permission by East Hampshire District Council to create a state-of-the-art play area at Jubilee Park, in Horndean.

The centrepiece will be a zip wire and a climbing net. It aim to create a ‘destination’ park, similar to Bidbury Mead, in Bedhampton.

Developers’ contributions are paying for the makeover.
