It never really feels like Christmas until the famous red Coca Cola Christmas truck comes onto our television screens.

But this year, television is the only place those of us in Posrtmouth will see it, unless you want to take a trip to Southampton.

National tour dates released for the lorry confirm it will not stop in Portsmouth this year, but will visit our neighbour, Southampton, on November 30.

The truck’s UK tour will start on November 17, visiting 44 locations across the country.

Those lucky enough to see it will be able to get a photo with the truck, enjoy a winter wonderland experience and try a free sample of Coca-Cola Zero Sugar.

Marketing director for Coca-Cola Great Britain, Aedamar Howlett, said: ‘Coca-Cola is synonymous with the Christmas season and it’s no secret that our much-loved Christmas Truck Tour marks the unofficial countdown to Christmas.’

The famous ‘Holidays are Coming’ advert will air on TV this November, along with a new advert ‘A Coke for Christmas’, which will air the following month.

The last time the truck visited Portsmouth was in 2013 when it stooped at Guildhall Square.
