Here are a handful of the best events taking place across the region over the next 48 hours. 

STAGE: Björn Again – the much-respected and long-serving Abba tribute act – are coming to Portsmouth for a night filled with Abba’s classic hits. Portsmouth Guildhall, Tuesday, 7pm.

THEATRE: A priceless diamond has been entrusted to a bank, an institution so corrupt that the security guards are on the take. Can it be safely stored? Kings Theatre, Southsea, Tuesday, 7.30pm. 

MUSICAL: Shrek the Musical is the all-singing, all-dancing stage version of the popular films, packed with laughs and the odd tear. Mayflower Southampton, Wednesday, 7pm.

GIG: Sunflower Bean is an American rock band from Glen Head, New York and Brooklyn. They will be in Portsmouth to play their new album Twentytwo in Blue. Wedgewood Rooms, Southsea, Wednesday, 8pm​​​​​​​.
