A fun day out with my prehistoric pals

LETTER OF THE DAY: Underlying the housing crisis is the rocketing price of building land

Have your say

Hello there Chipsters, I’d like to introduce you to my new friends Triceratops and Tyrannosaurus Rex.

They’re friendly and cuddly and like to roll over and have their tummies tickled.

And if you believe that, then you’re a sillysaurus.

I have to admit I was a bit worried about meeting these characters at Marwell wildlife park. In fact, as you can see from this picture, I was a nervous rex!

But I needn’t have bothered my fluffy old head with any concerns because I ended up having a dino-mite time.

As you know Marwell is usually home to cuddly creatures.

Okay, okay, I know tigers, cheetahs and snow leopards don’t exactly fall into that category. But compared to this lot, they’re pussycats!

Well forget the big cats of today, now the park also has the massive monsters of the past.

These enormous electronic dinosaur puppets roar and move their heads but thankfully couldn’t chase and eat your poor pal Chipper when I visited.

You can see them too if you go to Marwell before September 2. And the big cats and all those other crazy creatures are still there.

Because I survived my day with the dinosaurs, I’ll finish up with a joke to celebrate.

What did the dinosaur say after crashing into a tree? I’msosaurus.

Ha ha ha, just don’t tell my bdf (best dinosaur friend) T Rexie.

Chip chip for now. Chipper x
