The latest instalment in the wildly popular FIFA franchise will be released later this month.

Here is all parents need to know about FIFA 19: 

Does it have an age rating? 

FIFA 19 has an age rating of three and up, meaning it is suitable for children aged three and over. 

When is it released and where can it be bought? 

FIFA 19 will on sale in England on Friday, September 28 and it will be available from retailer such as GAME as well as retailer such as HMV and Argos and supermarkets. 

The game will also be available online from the likes of Amazon, and can be bought digitally from Playstation and Xbox stores. 

How much will it cost? 

The standard edition of the game is set to cost £49.99, although different retailers may offer different prices. 

But the Champions Edition will cost £69.99, while FIFA 19 Ultimate Edition is priced at £89.99. 

What is the difference? 

FIFA 19 standard edition comes with just the standard full game – which includes all the traditional modes, story mode, Ultimate Team etc. 

For the extra £20 the Champions Edition – if pre-ordered –three days Early Access, so you can play the game on September 25, and up to 20 Jumbo Premium Gold FUT packs plus:

- UEFA Champions League Gold Player Pick (Choose one of five 80 to 83 rated gold players from qualified teams)

- Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar Jr. loan players for seven FUT matches

- Special Edition FUT kits designed by FIFA soundtrack artists

While the FIFA 19 Ultimate Edition comes with – if pre-ordered –  three days Early Access, so you can play the game on September 25, and up to 40 Jumbo Premium Gold FUT packs plus:

UEFA Champions League Gold Player Pick (Choose one of five 80 to 83 rated gold players from qualified teams)

Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar Jr. loan players for seven FUT matches

Special Edition FUT kits designed by FIFA soundtrack artists. 

What consoles is it available on? 

FIFA 19 will be available on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One - as usual. 

As well as PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. 

While this year it will also be available on the Nintendo Switch – and will be released on the same day as PS4 and Xbox editions. 

Will Pompey be in the game? 

Yes! FIFA has teams from the Premier League all the way down to League Two – meaning Portsmouth FC will be included. 

So if your children or you are massive Pompey fans, you will be able to play with Jamal Lowe, Ronan Curtis and all the other stars. 

Are there in-game purchases? 

As Ultimate Team is returning to FIFA 19, so are in game purchases. With players able to buy ‘Packs’ that range in prices – so make sure to not put your credit card details into the game if you don’t want to be hit by a huge bill.
