The Kings Theatre, Southsea has revealed the cast for this year’s pantomime, Aladdin, which includes favourites from the world of music and TV.

Following the success of last year’s pantomime, Sleeping Beauty, the Kings has announced that Antony Costa and Marcus Patrick will be heading to Portsmouth this Christmas to star in Aladdin.

Antony first shot to fame in 2001 as a member of the hugely popular boy band Blue, whose hits included All Rise and One Love. Having sold millions of records and played to sell-out crowds in huge arenas all over the world, Antony will be bringing his boyish charms to the Kings Theatre in the lead role of Aladdin.

Heart-throb Marcus Patrick from Gosport is looking forward to returning to the Kings after he played The Huntsman in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 2012.

Marcus is best-known for his five-year stint on Hollyoaks as fireman Ben Davies back in 2000 and his victory on reality TV show 71 Degrees North in 2010.

In 2012 Marcus completed a UK theatre tour with hit comedy Wildboyz and this year he joins the pantomime cast as the Genie of the Ring.

Aladdin runs from Tuesday December 9, 2014 until Sunday January 4, 2015.
