LETTER OF THE DAY: HGV battle is won. Pity PCC didn’t tell us

Have your say

Business partners Phil Treagus and Kane Lodge are this week’s We Can Do It T-shirt winners after a charity skydive which they set up raised more than £1,000 for The Rowans Hospice.

The pair organised the daredevil challenge in Salisbury and got their friend Edward Davidson to make the jump.

In total £1,278 was donated by the trio’s friends, family and followers on social networking websites Twitter and Facebook.

Phil, 22, and Kane, 24, are designing a website together called Snowglo.

Their aim, once the site goes live, is to donate a percentage of advertising profits each month to charity.

Snowglo will give people the chance to post and read reviews about anything from movies, television shows and plays to food and video games.

Phil, of Waterlooville, says: ‘We’re absolutely ecstatic with the amount of money we’ve been able to raise.

‘Kane and I are huge supporters of The Rowans Hospice.

‘We believe it is an extremely worthwhile cause.

‘We’re proud of Edward for taking part in the skydive – although it rained on the day he thoroughly enjoyed himself.

‘Although our website isn’t live at the moment we thought we could do as much as we could for charity in the meantime.

‘Hopefully we’ll soon be able to set up monthly events for worthy causes.’
