GET in the mood for food with the Port Solent’s Open Kitchen this weekend.
The venue is so proud of its excellent selection of restaurants and bars and of the quality food they produce, it is inviting you backstage to see how it’s done.
Over the weekend, a selection of Port Solent’s finest chefs, award-winning local brewers and sommeliers are inviting guests to a behind-the-scenes master class.
You can learn how your favourite food is made and take away some tricks of the trade.
Tomorrow, local cuisine is celebrated and Port Solent pays homage to Hampshire’s abundance of quality produce, as 30 stalls from Hampshire Farmers’ Markets set up at Port Solent.
Then on Sunday, the community chef Robin Van Creveld, who is renowned for his sourcing of fresh, local ingredients, is taking centre stage with a series of live waterside cookery demonstrations throughout the day.
There will also be lively family entertainment throughout the weekend.
