Hi there Chipper Club fans! Welcome to this week’s fun-filled page, dedicated to all you many Chipsters out there.
Now, I know you know your old pal Chipper loves getting out and about and last week, I had a great chance to escape The News office.
If you were very lucky, you might have seen me going for a walk around Portsmouth, drumming up support for a very special event.
Have you heard about Blue Day?
I really hope so because it’s a great cause and something we’re really passionate about here at The News.
Blue Day will take place on Friday, May 6, and will raise money for the Tom Prince Cancer Trust.
It’s the day when we hope to turn the city blue – and there’s already lots of fun things organised so maybe your school, youth group, or family are planning to get involved.
I’m putting a special call out to all my Chipsters today to make sure you know how you can get involved.
As The News’ faithful newshound, I’ll be getting really involved in Blue Day, so it would be marvellous if you all show your support too.
On the evening of May 6, I’m going to be at the Blue Reef Aquarium, Southsea, and I want you to join me.
Not to see all our fishy friends, you understand, but for the Big Blue Walk!
We’ll be walking the mile-and-a-half journey past Southsea Castle and Speakers Corner before returning to our starting point.
It’s going to be great – and everyone will be wearing blue!
If you want to take part, joining in is really easy.
Talk to your mum or dad and if you can be at Blue Reef by 6pm go to tomprince.co.uk and register.
I look forward to seeing you down there.
A quick Chipper Club shout-out goes to Chipster 986, Courtney Barnett, from Gosport for this week’s Chipper Club jokes.
I’m sure you’ll agree they are real rib-ticklers. I’m still laughing now!
That’s it for this week my friends so until next Saturday, I’ll say chip chip for now!
Love Chipper X
