Have your say

IS your dad the best and does he deserve a Father’s Day to remember?

We’ve teamed up with Goodwood to give one lucky dad an unforgettable prize.

Simply draw a picture of your dad to be in with a chance of winning two tickets to the Festival of Speed.

You can use pencils, felt-tips, crayons or paints – just concentrate on making your drawing really special.

Entrants can draw a portrait of their dad or a picture of him doing something he enjoys. They may like to include themselves in the picture to show what makes their dad better than all the rest.

The competition is open to children aged 16 or under and pictures should be drawn on a plain piece of A4 paper.

Closing date is midnight on Wednesday, June 13.

Our winning dad will receive a pair of tickets plus grandstand access for the Festival of Speed on Friday June 29.

Tackling the famous Goodwood hillclimb will be everything from early grand prix machines to off-roaders and contemporary racers.

Set to appear at the event, held at Goodwood House near Chichester, are Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button and Sebastian Vettel.

Send your drawings to: Draw Your Dad, c/o Sarah Foster, The News, News Centre, Hilsea, Portsmouth, PO2 9SX. Or you can scan them and e-mail them to features@thenews.co.uk. Put Draw Your Dad in the subject field.
