Free events for the over-60s

A free festival, offering a wealth of events and activities for the over-60s, takes place in Portsmouth until October 14.

There are daily events being held at a host of city attractions, including local libraries and there is the chance to see behind the scenes at Portsmouth Football Club as well as getting guided tours around the New Theatre Royal and Guildhall.

Events range from talks to sports and arts and crafts. This year also sees the introduction of new events such as flower arranging, read dating, crochet and various sports activities.
