PORTSMOUTH residents can visit the Spinnaker Tower and Portsmouth Historic Dockyard for half price this weekend, as the attractions join forces as part of Portsmouth’s Big Day Out.

On either Saturday or Sunday, those who live in the PO postcode will receive 50 per cent off entry into the two popular family attractions, plus special offers and discounts from many of the restaurants and shops at Gunwharf Quays.

And those living on the Isle of Wight, will receive discounted travel across the Solent from Wightlink and Hovertravel.

This promotion has been arranged to celebrate the fifth annual British Tourism Week (which runs from March 12 to 20).

Visit britishtourismweek.com for more information.

To take advantage of this offer, residents just need to bring a utility bill and photo ID with them on the day and purchase their tickets from the respective attractions’ visitor centres.

You can also visit the Visitor Information Centre at Gunwharf Quays for the full list of retail and catering participants and terms and conditions.

The discounts only apply on tomorrow and Sunday and separate tickets must be purchased for each of the two days.
