Have a go at badminton in Havant

LETTER OF THE DAY: Underlying the housing crisis is the rocketing price of building land

Have your say

Young people have been urged to give badminton a go.

The Havant Hornets Badminton Club is looking for new members.

This expanding club is keen to hear from eight to 16 year olds who are interested in learning the game and having fun.

The club meets on Monday evenings – term time only – at Havant Leisure Centre. Two sessions take place from 4pm – 5pm and 5pm – 6pm.

Richard Wood, sports and development officer at Havant Borough Council, says: ‘It’s a great club with a good reputation for its coaching and value for money. Youngsters of all abilities whether you are just starting out or have played before can come along and join in the fun.’
