When did you last go away and where did you go?

Florida. We managed to go to all the theme parks and had a few days to chill out as well. There were some great new rides and, after the winter we’ve had, it was nice to get some sunshine.

What was the last gig/concert/comedy show you went to?

Keane (pictured right) in Brighton at the end of last year. I have seen them a few times before and they are always great. They are one of those bands that, when you see them live, you suddenly remember how many great songs they have had.

What about the last theatre show you saw?

Spamalot in London. I wasn’t too keen on going and was persuaded by a friend. It was totally crazy throughout but was really enjoyable, so I was glad I went.

The last book you read?

I think it was a Michael Connelly book, which I really enjoy, but I can’t remember which one!

The last film you saw at the cinema or on DVD?

Iron Man 3. It was a pretty good movie. I have seen the other two, so I knew what to expect. It’s one of those movies that is so much better on the big screen.

What’s your favourite way to relax?

Laying on the beach listening to some music in the sunshine would be great.

What do you watch on TV?

Soccer AM is a good mix of football, humour and guests. I also like Trollied on Sky and I thought The Ricky Gervais Show was very funny. I also like all the chat shows, but it’s a bit dependent on who the guests are.

And which TV programmes do you avoid?

TV talent shows and dance shows, I can’t believe they’re still so popular. It has also become a bit of a standing joke on the radio show how much I dislike All Star Mr & Mrs. I think it’s the worst show on TV at the moment.

Which celeb would you most like to spend a weekend with?

I can’t think of a celeb I would really want to spend a weekend with, but guess a comedian would be a good option.

What’s your signature dish, if you’re cooking?

I would love to have a signature dish and thought of making one up, but then someone may read this and ask me to cook it for them. Basically I am pretty useless in the kitchen.

What about pubs and bars? Where do you go?

Gunwharf, Fareham and London, but not all in one night!

Where’s good for a day out locally?

Southsea has lots going on in the summer. There are certain parts that need work, but there is also a lot to enjoy. The Great South Run and the Kite Festival (pictured above) are two great events to enjoy.
