When did you last go away and where did you go?
Our last trip away was back in March with a couple of friends to a log cabin in the Forest of Dean. We had an absolutely amazing time. It was definitely a much-needed break.
What was the last gig/concert you went to?
Wow, answering this has made me realise it has been so long since I have been to a gig that I can’t even remember.
I have just booked tickets to see Lifehouse in London in October. They are my favourite band so I’m really looking forward to it.
A group of us are off to the Victorious Festival this year too. It’s great to have something local to look forward to.
What was the last theatre show you saw?
I went to see Dirty Dancing when the tour was in Southampton with my friend Laura. We had a brilliant time. I would love to see the Jersey Boys and Lion King too.
Which celeb would you most like to spend a weekend with?
Lee Evans. I find him hilarious. It would be a laugh a minute. I also really like Jason Manford and Michael McIntyre. Can I have a weekend with all three please?
Where’s good for a day out locally?
Having worked in one of the local tourist attractions, I think Portsmouth and surrounding areas has so much to offer. I don’t think you can beat a nice sunny day down in Southsea though. I think living in the area, I take for granted having it there so don’t visit as often as I should, but I’ve had some of my best days out in Southsea, just enjoying the views and the atmosphere.
And what about a day trip further afield?
I have passes to attractions up and down the country and make the most of them, taking my nieces and nephews and friends’ little ones out for day trips.
I’m a big child at heart and love the farms and zoo. We have so many within a short distance.
Which pubs and bars do you go to?
It is very rare I go out unless it’s for a celebration, but we tend to head to Gunwharf. It has changed so much.
Do you have any hobbies?
I love my job but find that it doesn’t leave me much free time, so I spend any spare time catching up with family and friends.
