When did you last go away and where did you go?
I went to Spain in September this year for a week. It was me, my husband and son with our best friends and their son. We stayed in a lovely villa on the Mar Menor coastline and had a great time, especially watching my son playing in the sand for the first time and discovering ice lollies!
What was the last gig/concert you went to?
The last gig I went to was to see Take That at Wembley in the summer of 2011, I was pregnant with my son so you could say it was his first gig as well. They are my guilty pleasure but did not disappoint, a great show.
What about the last book you read?
How To Potty Train in a Week – very informative. I have not started putting things into practice yet though!
What was the last film you saw at the cinema or on DVD?
The final Twilight movie. Loved it!
What’s your favourite way to relax?
Spending time out and about with my son and husband, going to the park or walking along the beach. I also love spa pamper sessions but this is not always possible now.
What do you watch on TV?
I’m an EastEnders fan, always have been and love getting caught up in the drama. I also love the Great British Bake Off. I love baking but am not at that standard! And Downton Abbey is just amazing.
And which TV programmes do you avoid?
I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here. Cannot stand the people.
Which celeb would you most like to spend a weekend with?
Sara Cox. I think she is hilarious and I can relate to a lot of what she asks about on the radio. I think she would also be great fun.
Where do you shop?
Where do you eat out?
There is a pub in Romsey called The Cromwell Arms that I love going to. Excellent food and great atmosphere and service. I am going there soon and they now have B&B rooms, so we are having a night off and staying the night with some friends.
What’s your signature dish if you’re cooking?
Roast dinner. My spuds are absolutely amazing.
Where’s good for a day out locally?
I love taking my son to Paultons Park. He has so much fun and so do I. We have an annual pass and went loads in the summer. My son loves water and the splash parks were a big hit. We haven’t been for a couple of months and in that time he has discovered Peppa Pig so I cannot wait to see his reaction to it the next time we go.
And what about a day trip further afield?
I love Brighton for shopping and relaxing. It’s just so chilled, the beach is nice and I’ve had great times there.
