Ronald and Pamela Limburn had a big party when they marked 60 years of marriage.

The Bedhampton couple celebrated their diamond wedding with a gathering of friends and family at Havant Ex-Servicemen’s Club.

Their four children, 10 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and brothers and sisters joined in the landmark occasion.

Ronald, 85, and 77-year-old Pamela were married at St Coleman’s Church in Cosham. Ronald was in the army and the couple spent several years in Singapore. They have lived in Bedhampton since his retirement from the service in the late 1960s.

Their anniversary is on Thursday but they decided on a weekend celebration. The event follows the diamond wedding in August of Ronald’s younger brother Lesley to Pamela’s older sister Zenia.
