Council urged to look at ‘long-term picture’ amid proposals to cut Short Breaks activities by almost half

Have your say

NORMA BROWN: I am attempting to trace Norma Brown (as she was then), who was my bridesmaid 50 years ago on May 27, 1961.

We lost touch a few years after this and I would like to make contact with her again. At that time she lived with her parents in Folkestone Road, Copnor, Portsmouth.

I would very much like her to join my husband Harley and I at St Mary’s Church, along with my other bridesmaids, on May 27, 2011, for the renewing of our vows.

NEVILLE: I fostered five children back in the 60s when I lived in North End, namely Jane, Philip, Lizzie and two others. Their surname was Neville.

I wondered where they are now. Please telephone with any details. Our names are Irene and Jim.

PATRICIA STEVENS: I have lost touch with my cousin, Patricia. We are both granddaughters of William James Stevens, a pork butcher of Portsmouth until the 1950s, when he was succeeded by my cousin’s father (i.e. my uncle) Clifford William Stevens. Clifford’s brother, Stanley James Stevens, was my father.

I changed my name by deed poll in the 1990s.
