Helping people locate friends or family they’ve lost contact with.

CLARIDGE: I am looking for a friend, Sue Claridge, who got married in 1970 to John Edwards.

We all worked at the Co-op department store in Gosport. I also worked with Sue at Marsh & Son in Stoke Road in our early teens.

Sue lived at Bury Hall Lane in the 1960s. In tracing her through genealogy records, Sue and John had three children, Sarah who married in 1990 to Adam Beazley in south-east Hampshire; Julie who married in 1996 to Kevon Paton also in south-east Hampshire; and Peter who married in 2004 to Linsay Chandler at Alton in Hampshire. Would like to hear from her and anyone who could put me in touch with her.

BARTLETT: I would like to know if there is anyone who would know of a Bartlett family in the South Stoneham/Portsmouth area around 1926.

My ancestor Kate (Kathleen) Easton married a George Bartlett in South Stoneham, in 1926.

Kate’s parents were Mary Ann Georgina (nee Morgan) and John Easton, both from the Southampton area in 1901. Any help would be greatly appreciated in finding relatives.

EDITH WHEAVIL: I believe this person may be my great aunt whose maiden name was Dye. I am researching the Dye family tree and any information would be greatly appreciated.

She lived in Angerstein Road probably more than 16 years ago.

MASON: I am trying to trace the following people for family history reasons, Patrick Mason, Albert Mason, Colleen Mason or Sheila Mason if any are still in the area. I am their cousin David.

GLENDENNING: I am trying to locate Dorothy Glendenning, formerly of Record Road, Emsworth. We both attended Emsworth Primary School, Washington Road, Emsworth.

I once lived at Victoria Road, Emsworth, facing Record Road. We went to school and came home together and spent many hours together including school lunch breaks spent in Emsworth Park.

Having received many invitations by her parents to meet on several Saturday evenings between 7.30pm and 9.30pm, we became sweethearts. We separated due to work and travelling long distances.

I hope someone can help me find her. I can be texted on 07979 464240 any time.

Mike, Emsworth
