FAREHAM: High Street until July 25; Palmerston Drive, off the entry to the industrial site just off the B3385 Newgate Lane, closed until August; Hill Head Road until August; South Street, Titchfield until September; The Avenue until May; Eastern Way, Quay Street, Portland Street, Western Way, Gosport Road until April 2012

GOSPORT: Military Road until July; Chapel Street until August; Wych Lane until February 2012

LEE-ON-THE-SOLENT: Pier Street until September

HAVANT: Havant Road, Bedhampton Hill Road until July 22; Hulbert Road, Bedhampton Road until August; New Road until November; Southleigh Road until December

WATERLOOVILLE: Purbrook Heath Road until August; Milton Road until March 2012

PORTSMOUTH: Abbeydore Road, Arundel Street, Arundel Street, Clarence Esplanade, Copnor Road, Court Mead, Flathouse Road, Fratton Road, James Callaghan Drive, Lake Road, Milton Road, Portsdown Hill Road, Southwick Road, Western Road.



Some early morning services from Southampton Central will be replaced by buses on Sunday.


Track improvements and maintenance are taking place from 7am on Sunday until 7.45am between Southampton Central and St Denys.

Whilst work is taking place, buses will replace trains.


No planned engineering works.



No planned disruption to services.


Due to resurfacing, South Street in Gosport will be closed between the Esplanade and Haslar Road from 6am until 8am from Tuesday until Thursday.

Service 83 will use Mumby Road in both directions.

Services 82, 85, 86, 88, and 72 will use Stoke Road, Spring Garden Lane and Mumby Road in both directions.

Bus stops at Morrisions and outside the police station will not be served during the closure.

Due to the ongoing Tesco development in Quay Street the road will be closed to all traffic heading towards Quay St Roundabout from 8am until 4pm daily.

During this time, the 38A and 138 will divert via East Street to Delme Arms roundabout then Eastern Way to Fareham bus station.

Services 1A, 5, 5A, 57 and 63 will divert via Eastern Way to Fareham bus station.

During this time buses will not be able to call at the bus stop in East Street close to Cafe Tusk.

Due to the closure of Wych Lane in Bridgemary as part of the BRT works, First will be revising services 81, 82, 83, 85, 86 and 88 to take account of the road closure and to adjust the timetable of bus services along the A32.

A shuttle service, numbered G1, will operate every 15 minutes between 7am and 7pm on Monday to Saturdays to link with the diverted services. The shuttle bus will operate in an anti-clockwise loop, running from Nobes Avenue shops to Gregson Avenue, Wych Lane, Tukes Avenue, Carisbrooke Road,

Brading Avenue, Brewers Lane and Nobes Avenue, connecting with the diverted 85, 86 and 88 services at Nobes Avenue Shops.

Due to the installation of raised bus stop kerbing there will be lane and bus stop closures at Milton Road in Portsmouth near to the junction of Velder Avenue - Southbound only.
