Resurfacing works are being undertaken on the Havant Road, Hayling Island between the junction of Victoria Road and the Church Road roundabout.

All work is scheduled to take place overnight Monday to Fridays only, between the hours of 8pm and 6.30am and it will be necessary to close the road to traffic.

As a result of these works and due to no suitable alternative route, the 8.45am departure from Havant to Hayling Island and return will be suspended until approximately next Friday.

There are no plans to carry out works over weekends, unless there are exceptional circumstances or delays to the works, so the Saturday evening journeys should be unaffected.

Due to major gas works taking place in Stanhope Road, Portsmouth City Centre, service 20 and Coastliner 700 will be subject to diversion during these works.

No planned disruption to services.
