COOK: My father, Arthur Geoffrey Simon, was a resident of 15 Fastnet House, South Parade, Southsea between 1982 and his death in December 1999.

For the latter part of that period, he was cared for by Miss Valerie Cook, who was also a resident of Southsea (71 Waverley Road) for many years with her partner, Alf.

Valerie was very good to my father and we were in contact for a couple of years after his death but I have recently discovered that her telephone number no longer works and 71 Waverley Road is no longer her home – it is now student accommodation.

I would love to find her. Feel at liberty to call me on the telephone number.

FARRELL: Please help find my brother Ron Farrell.

We lived at 25 Victoria Street, Gosport, in the 1950s. We then moved to 18 Durham Street, Gosport.

He served in the Duke of Wellington’s Army. He often sent gifts home and came home.

He was very friendly with a John Gill that lived in Durham Street, from 1953.

He was last heard of in Swindon in the late 1950s early 1960s.

My mother visited him he was working in a butcher’s shop. He promised her he would write and visit but never did.

I would like to know if he is dead or alive. I hope someone can help.
