The possibility of a foreign holiday this summer is now back on the cards, following the recent lifting of the travel ban to a select number of countries.

The UK government released a list of more than 50 countries that holidaymakers in England can now safely travel to, without having to self-isolate on their return.

The quarantine measures are to be dropped from these low-risk countries from 10 July, with France, Spain, Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Australia and New Zealand among those included.

In response to the travel update from the government on Friday (3 July), airlines are now gradually starting operations again, with a number of routes available to book over the summer.
